Our Mission
The Haute-Yamaska Resource for Men (H.Y.R.M.) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help men struggling with intimate partner violence, childhood sexual abuse, and mental health crises (e.g., breakups, co-dependency, emotional difficulties, etc.).
We offer workshops to raise awareness and to provide information on available services to the population and our partners.
We foster cooperation between community organizations with similar objectives (réf. C.I.U.S.S.S - mission C.L.S.C., youth centres, police services probation services, etc.)
We participate in various roundtables.
Our core values: respect, integrity, transparency, honesty, trust, and non-judgment.
The organization has existed since 1989 and is subsidized by the Centre Intégré Universitaire de Santé et de Services Sociaux de l’Estrie CHUS – CIUSSS de l’Estrie-CHUS.
